Allan Aldana


Allan has a degree in Economics from the Universidad de los Andes majoring in Administration. He also has a Masters degree in International Business from the Grenoble Graduate School of Business.

He spent 4 years as a consultant for the Ministry of Health and Social Inclusion, working on health policies and programs in partnership with regional, national and international authorities (for both the Gaviria and Uribe Ministries).

He has been a risk specialist for the African and Asian markets at Acción Internacional, an international consultant focusing on providing access to affordable, good quality financial services and also contributed to the evaluation of institutional risk in his role as Risk Analyst for the Latin American Market, also at Acción Internacional. He has led several different projects in Colombia, Haiti, Ghana, Nicaragua, Mexico and Ecuador for microfinance companies.
