Juan Manuel Anguiano

HEAD OF STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS - MEXICO

Juan Manuel Anguiano has more than 12 years of experience in strategic communications, crisis management and prevention, and public relations, both in the private and public sector, he has participated in communication strategies to position and safeguard the reputation of companies and institutions from sectors, such as energy, financial, automobile, food and beverages, transportation and consumer goods, among others.

He was a consultant at Zimat Consultores for eight years and served at the General Directorate for Social Communications at the Office of the Federal Prosecutor for the Consumer and the Subdirectorate for Corporate Communications at Petróleos Mexicanos. Previously, he worked in journalism as a reporter, editor, correspondent and news director at different media outlets, among others, El Economista, Excélsior, El Universal, the AEE and Ultra Telecom.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
