Loreley Maldonado


Loreley has more than 20 years’ experience in the fields of strategic communications, public relations and crisis management in Mexico, Colombia and the United States.

She has led different projects in a range of industries including tourism, cement, construction, petrochemicals, food and drink, finance, pharmaceuticals and education for private and public organizations such as Aeroméxico, Grupo Bimbo, Mexichem, Elementia, BHP, Consejo de Promoción Turística de México, Lala, Mota-Engil, USG, Posadas, CANACEM, CNET, Torre Reforma, CIDE, and ConMéxico, among others.

For 14 years, she was project leader and senior consultant for Zimat Consultores Comunicación Total; and was previously General Manager of Institutional Communication for the Universidad del Valle de México (Laureate International Universities). Before that, she was the editor of the magazine Líderes Mexicanos.

She has a degree in Communication Sciences and Journalism from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and a Masters in Commercial Strategy from the Universidad Panamericana. She also has diplomas in Strategic Business Communication from the ITESM, Social Responsibility from ITAM and Strategic Political Analysis from the CIDE.
