Thomaz has over ten years of experience in public affairs and institutional relations. He began his career at São Paulo City Hall, after which he managed Edelman Brazil’s Public Affairs team. Most recently, he worked as a manager for Prospectiva. Thomaz has led projects at the federal, state and municipal levels and has also worked for a period in Washington, DC.
He has supported clients from different sectors in access, market-entry, crisis management and institutional positioning projects having worked for SulAmérica, Abbott, Novartis, Brazilian Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, Fraport, Aegea, CAB Cuiabá, AES Eletropaulo, Mitsui, Odebrecht and Nissan, among others. During Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games, he was a manager at an Olympic sponsor Crisis Committee.
Master and graduate in Public Policy Management at São Paulo University (USP), he was also part of an academic internship at the Sociology Faculty of Coimbra University in Portugal and has specialization courses in Georgetown University, Washington DC.
